I love this book by David Walliams because it is really funny and it has clear scenes.

My favourite part is when he first gets into hospital and that night he goes to see where his hospital mates are going.

I highly recommend this book: *****/*****

I loved this book because it is very original and is written in different parts. Also, I like how the writers separated the book into their own stories and memories. I especially like the part when they make a football team of them in fifa cards. This is because they where honest about theirs and others stats.

I rate this book: 5/5 stars.

Sparkly dark green

Presents all over the place,

Snow drifting from heaven,

Smile on every ones face,

Toys glowing when it’s dark

Santa’s  stuck in the chimney,

Hand to many mince pies,

They where ment to be all mine!

My heart pounded as blood dripped out of my hand. Was this the end? I was in so much pain, nobody was around: I had been wrong from the start. I knew I had made a big mistake. Typical of me never listening to anyone. I’d been stuck here for a whole night. What do I do now? I thought I was always right, but I guess not!

It was only two days ago we arrived at Slip Slide water park. It was everything I’d dreamed of and more. The water rippled across my whole body while cascades of crystal bubbles surfed down the side of the wall. All of the staggering water slides almost made me fall over in happiness. This was a dream come true!

Still shivering in pain, I heard another noise. A scream! A bang! A wash of water! A devilish bang hit my back. I was free! Mum’s eyes caught mine. Her chilling soul told me a message; “Bad news!”

“Don’t ignore ‘out of order’ signs it’s dangerous, you could get hurt!” Mum moaned. She had always been to over protective. It was almost my birthday and I was going to Slip Slide water park. Nothing was going to ruin my birthday. Nothing.

I was finally there: the best water park on earth! First stop- water slides. Ignoring all signs and ‘do not pass’ posters, I clambered up the creaky stairs. Every step my heart beat got faster. I reached the top. I took a leap of faith. This was it…

Sometimes I think about how I could’ve died or have been seriously injured. I remember how my whole life was on hold and it could’ve been the last moments of my life. Mum has always been right. Always.
