I marched myself up-stairs, opened my bedroom door and laid down on my bed. Then I opened my diary to have a read.

Thursday 27 march 2015

This is where it all began. I remember sitting down infront of Primark. I would alwayas get looks from other children because of what kind clothes I would wear. Fear took over me. I’ve alwayas thought about what would happen to me. I’ve wanted to be normal and to have my mummy or daddy to come and get me.┬áPeople┬ástared at me relentlessly.

Half an hour later, and I was still sitting in the same spot. Tear, drop by drop, ran down my face. The only thing I had left of my family was this old hat. A lady came by. Her outfit made me feel cool, her giant smile made me smile and her loving heart made me warm. She dropped in a fifty pound note.

Was she going to help me? Questions filled my mind;she asked me a question.

“Are you homeless?”she asked.

“Yes,” I replied sadly

She grabbed me by the hand and took me to the nearest shop.

This was the moment I found a family.

‘She dropped in a fifty pound note’ makes me want to ask questions like where it was from and why someone put in a fifty pound note?

I love how you make me shocked when the lady drops a fifty pounds note because no one would really do that.
